Tips And Tricks 2048 Game ( The Most Addictive Game In The World)

2048 is an iPhone and iPad game that’s pretty much similar in concept with Threes: basically, you have to swipe the screen left and right, up and down and try to mix and match numbers on the board until you reach 2048: an extremely difficult quest that will probably take you a lot of time to achieve. But we’re here to make things easier with a set of 2048 game cheats: a set of tips and tricks that will help you get a super high score and hopefully the 2048 number as soon as possible.
So if you can’t seem to progress any more, why not check out our 2048 tips and tricks below – maybe they will help!
1. The whole board moves
When swiping in any direction, the whole board moves and all the numbers that you already have move not just one tile but all the way to the edge (be it the wall or another number). The idea is to try and match as many squares as possible with each swipe and maximize the empty spaces that you have on the board. The more empty spaces you have, the easier it gets for you to actually match more.
2. Reduce the number of empty moves
Empty moves in 2048 are moves that give you no match. Try to reduce these as much as possible because every move that you take gives you an extra tile on the board in a random position. You don’t want to fill up on those, especially when you start getting high numbers and it’s harder to match the small ones.
3. Try to balance growth
This being said, it’s a great strategy to balance your growth and not have one mammoth number and many small ones. Try to have about two highest level numbers at all times, ready to be matched, closely followed by increasingly smaller amounts, also in pairs and ready to be matched. If you get a single number to very high values, your board might fill up before you get a new one to match it with.
4. Build up small titles
Since you will get a ton of small numbers for a long time (mostly twos and fours), they should be your main matching priority. Don’t let them add up and take valuable space on your board. Plus, while you’ll be matching and mixing the small titles, you willautomatically create bigger matches too as you go.
5. Three directions only
I had some great success trying to swipe the board in three directions only (right, left and down) this way, you build up a pretty nice base of tiles at the bottom and then you take some time with a couple of moves and perform some nice chains after swiping up to get some really high numbers. You continue with three directions afterwards, and repeat the tactic. This makes it a bit easier to match and reduce the places where new tiles will appear and therefore make them easier to use.
6. Practice, practice, practice
It’s pretty clear that practice makes perfect even in the 2048 game for iPhone and iPad, so keep playing and try out new strategies. Eventually, you will get a mega score to be proud of!
And these would be, for now, our 2048 tips and tricks to help you get more points in the game. I am sure that there are a lot of other great strategies you can try out, so don’t hesitate to share them with us. Also, let us know what your highest score is!
